Compute the Page Matrix Per Company

Two intersecting ripple systems on a dark liquid surface, with luminous peaks at crossings; varying ripple densities represent different companies' page matrix limits.
Page matrices are calculated as enumerable objects multiplied by page types per object, resulting in significantly different page limits across companies.

IN ONE SENTENCE

A page matrix is computed — enumerable objects × page types — and different companies arrive at very different counts.

A page matrix is computed: find enumerable objects, decide page types per object, multiply for the ceiling, count topic space, total it against the goal. Same method, very different results, because the enumerable objects differ.

OUR POSITION

Close a gap by adding page types or objects, not by raising a monthly editorial quota. Forcing volume past the available topic space produces thin rephrasing every time.

01

The five steps

One, find the enumerable objects: products or modules, supported platforms, integrations, industries or scenarios, metrics, terms. These can be listed exhaustively.

Two, decide page types per object. For integrations: how to connect, common issues, and how it differs from alternatives.

Three, multiply for the ceiling.

Four, count topic space: how many opinionated depth pages genuinely exist — constrained by topics, not capacity.

Five, total it against the goal, closing gaps with more page types or more objects.

02

How company types differ

Companies with many enumerable objects — multiple products, integrations, supported platforms — can carry most volume in structured pages, with uniqueness from each page's own real data.

Companies with few objects but deep subjects — one product, complex decisions — carry volume in glossary and depth pages, with structured pages a small share.

The ceilings can differ several-fold. Applying one monthly quota to both guarantees that one of them is padding.

03

Read it with position bands

After computing the ceiling, ask how many of those pages can reach the top ten. Beyond eleven this category returns almost nothing, so pages that cannot only consume crawl budget.

Where the answer is uncertain, publish a small sample of each type and let the feedback decide replication.
