XstraStar Becomes First Company to Receive Excellence Rating in CAICT GEO Value Delivery Assessment

XstraStar GEO, a service brand of Shanghai XstraStar Digital Intelligence Marketing Services Co., Ltd., recently passed all 16 test items in the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Value Delivery Assessment conducted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), becoming the first company to receive an “Excellence” rating in this assessment. CAICT’s CTTL Terminal Labs conducted the assessment in accordance with the Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Value Delivery Assessment Scheme, examining GEO service providers’ overall capabilities in making commitments on service value, delivering projects, verifying results, and ensuring compliance.

The assessment examined XstraStar GEO’s value delivery system. Its results also reflect a shift in the GEO industry’s evaluation focus, which is expanding beyond technical capability development to include actual delivery outcomes. This gives companies a clearer basis for selecting GEO service providers.

GEO Assessment Continues to Evolve from Capability Development to Value Delivery

As generative AI becomes increasingly integrated into information discovery and purchasing decisions, platforms such as ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Doubao are becoming important channels for brands to communicate and reach users. Generative engine optimization (GEO), an emerging digital marketing service focused on AI search and generative answers, is attracting growing interest from companies.

The GEO industry’s rapid growth has also brought challenges, including inconsistent service standards, difficulty quantifying optimization results, and uneven delivery quality. For corporate clients, key questions in implementing GEO projects include whether a provider can deliver consistently, how to measure the practical value of its optimization services, and how to ensure a transparent service process and verifiable results.

To support the development of consistent industry practices, CAICT previously introduced a GEO Capability Completeness Assessment focused on providers’ technical foundations and overall service capabilities. Building on this, its GEO Value Delivery Assessment extends the evaluation to service objectives, delivery processes, operational results, and business value. Together, the complementary assessments form a two-dimensional assessment framework covering capability completeness and value delivery, helping GEO services progress from capability development to practical value delivery.

XstraStar GEO Passes All 16 Test Items and Receives Excellence Rating

The GEO Value Delivery Assessment comprises 16 test items covering the full service process, from commitments and delivery to verification and assurance. It focuses on whether providers can translate optimization objectives into measurable, verifiable outcomes.

For value definition and commitments, the assessment examines whether service objectives are clearly defined, optimization metrics are quantified, and commitments can be fulfilled. For delivery assurance, it evaluates standardized service processes, reliable project execution, and repeatable delivery mechanisms. For operational verification, it examines whether optimization results can be effectively verified and whether providers can continuously monitor and improve performance. For compliance and risk control, it considers the compliance requirements and risk management mechanisms applied throughout service delivery.

XstraStar GEO passed all 16 test items and received an “Excellence” rating, making it the first company to achieve this rating in the GEO Value Delivery Assessment.

The results reflect XstraStar GEO’s progress in building a systematic approach to managing service objectives, standardizing delivery, quantitatively verifying results, and ensuring compliance. They also provide a practical reference for translating GEO technical solutions into measurable, verifiable business value.

Technology Developed In House and Full Lifecycle Services Support Sustained GEO Value Delivery

As a technology services brand specializing in GEO and AI search marketing, XstraStar continues to develop its technology and service delivery system to address companies’ needs for brand visibility, competitive performance, and information dissemination in AI search. It has gradually developed end-to-end GEO service capabilities spanning data monitoring, brand diagnostics, optimization strategy, content asset development, and performance evaluation.

XstraStar uses its GEO monitoring and analytics platform, multidimensional data collection engine, and G-Power five-dimensional diagnostic model, all developed in house, to monitor brand visibility, analyze competitors, track citation sources, and evaluate optimization results across major AI platforms in China and internationally, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Doubao, and DeepSeek. These tools provide companies with a data-driven basis for GEO optimization.

For service delivery, XstraStar combines brand diagnostics, strategy development, content optimization, the development of authoritative information sources, and ongoing monitoring in an end-to-end service delivery system covering project implementation and operational optimization. Using measurable indicators such as brand mention rates, placement in AI recommendations, and citation performance, the company conducts periodic evaluations and ongoing optimization aligned with clients’ actual business objectives. This approach supports the progression of GEO services from content optimization alone to systematic, trackable project delivery.

Supported by a professional team with experience in artificial intelligence, search technology, digital marketing, and international business, XstraStar has accumulated project experience in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, technology, and international brand expansion. It is gradually developing integrated GEO and search engine optimization (SEO) capabilities across platforms and languages to provide ongoing AI search marketing support to corporate clients in different markets and industries.

Measurable Business Value Guides the Development of Standardized GEO Services

“The GEO industry is gradually progressing from technical capability development to the delivery of tangible value,” said Wang Yi, CEO of XstraStar. “For corporate clients, GEO services require technical expertise. More importantly, providers need to define service objectives clearly, standardize the delivery process, and demonstrate the value of their services in measurable, verifiable terms. Receiving an ‘Excellence’ rating in CAICT’s GEO Value Delivery Assessment has put our existing value delivery system to the test and provided an important reference for further refining our service standards and improving delivery quality.”

XstraStar will continue to address companies’ brand communication and digital marketing needs in the generative AI environment by deepening its in-house technology development and refining its end-to-end GEO service delivery system. It will continue to strengthen its capabilities in cross-platform monitoring, data analysis, strategy optimization, and results verification to support more standardized, transparent, and measurable GEO services.

As generative AI continues to change how users find information and form perceptions of brands, competition among GEO providers will increasingly focus on effectively combining technical capabilities with actual business value. Building on this assessment, XstraStar will continue to align technology development with service delivery practice, providing professional support to help companies build long-term, sustainable brand influence in AI search.
